Brian Hileman is an expert in the data protection field with 12 years of experience. He currently works as a Solution Architect at Cyberhaven, specializing in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Insider Risk Management. He has held past roles at Palo Alto Networks, Digital Guardian, and InteliSecure. Brian created and manages DLPTest.com, a website for testing and evaluating DLP capabilities. He is a speaker on data security and has presented at numerous events.

The data protection landscape is changing rapidly, which makes sense when you consider after 2021, there was an estimated 74 Zettabytes or 74,000,000,000 Terabytes of total data worldwide.

Data Loss Prevention was a daunting task when all of the data lived in the data center, but with the rapid shift to cloud, SaaS, and hybrid environments coupled with the shift to a hybrid workforce, mitigating risk around data is as challenging as ever.
